Gifts Development Team is pleased to present Shawn Lange and Rolando Sosa Granados for affirmation by delegates to become a member of the Missional Leadership Team. This notice is being sent to all delegates to Indiana-Michigan Mennonite Conference (IMMC). You will find more information about Shawn and Rolando below.

Shawn Lange has been pastor at New Foundations United in Christ Mennonite Fellowship (Elkhart, IN) for 22 years. Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, Shawn was licensed for ministry in 2003, and completed the Journey program though Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary in 2012. In 2013, Shawn was ordained. Shawn describes himself as a family man, real world worker, senior pastor, man of God, and a child of God. He is a compassionate person who is humbled by God’s Spirit and he is thankful to be in leadership in this way.

 

Rolando Sosa Granados serves as a part-time pastor at Peidra Viva Mennonite Church (Elkhart, IN) and as a fulltime therapist in the Child & Adolescent Clinic of a local psychiatric center. Rolando was born in El Salvador and immigrated to Canada as a refugee. While working on a degree from Goshen College in Theology and Social Work, he was called to be part of the pastoral team of Iglesia Menonita Del Buen Pastor and was ordained by IMMC in 2003. He graduated from Goshen College in 2003 and went on to earn a Masters of Social Work from Andrews University in 2008 and an MDiv from AMBS in 2010. Sosa is married to Augustina Sosa. The Sosa’s have five adult children and eight grandchildren.
