Eastern Mennonite University Dean’s Lists—2008–09

The following students from IN-MI Conference congregations were named to the dean’s list at Eastern Mennonite University (EMU), Harrisonburg, Va. To qualify for the dean’s list a student must achieve a semester grade point average of at least 3.750 or above and complete at least 12 semester hours of credit.

Fall semester 2008

Candace Beck, a sophomore history and social science major with a secondary education licensure, is the daughter of William and Sherry Beck of Hebron, Ind. and a member of Locust Grove Mennonite, Sturgis, Mich.

Rose Byler, a first-year social work major, is the daughter of Mark and Anne Meyer-Byler of Goshen, Ind. and a member of Assembly Mennonite, Goshen.

Jeffrey Gingrich, a senior liberal arts major, is the son of Elizabeth Gingrich of Goshen, Ind. and a member of Waterford Mennonite, Goshen.

Nathan Kauffman, a junior history and social science major, is the son of Jeff and Chris Kauffman of Goshen, Ind. and a member of East Goshen Mennonite.

Jacob King, a senior English major, is the son of John and Evelyn King of Goshen, Ind., and a member of College Mennonite, Goshen.

Adrianne Leaman, a senior congregations and youth ministry major, is the daughter of Kent and Jill Miller of Middlebury, Ind. and a member of Yellow Creek Mennonite, Goshen.

Rebecca Martin, a first-year applied sociology major, is the daughter of Linford and Elaine Martin of Middlebury, Ind. and a member of First Mennonite of Middlebury.

Rachel Maust, a senior French major, is the daughter of Rod and Martha Maust of Indianapolis, Ind. and a member of Shalom Mennonite, Indianapolis.

Abbigal Steury, a senior liberal arts major, is the daughter of Doug and LuAnn Steury of New Paris, Ind. and a member of North Goshen (Ind.) Mennonite.

Kimberly Troyer, a senior liberal arts major with an elementary education licensure, pre k-6, is the daughter of Dennis and Kathy Troyer of Shipshewana, Ind. and a member of Shore Mennonite, Shipshewana.

Maria Zehr, a sophomore music major with an education licensure, pre k-12, is the daughter of Doug and Miriam Zehr of Leo, Ind. and a member of North Leo Mennonite.

Jakob zumFelde, a sophomore environmental science and chemistry major, is the son of Roger and Evelyn zumFelde of Goshen, Ind. and a member of Walnut Hill Mennonite, Goshen.
